Certifications
One foundation. Two professional paths.
Every Auto DigitID professional begins with a common understanding of AIDC technologies, systems and industry workflows. From there, candidates specialise according to role.
The certification framework
Professional is shared. You take it once, whichever path you go on to — and each credential above it assumes the one below, which is what makes it mean the same thing whoever holds it.

Eligibility rates
Published rates rather than promotions. If you qualify, the rate is yours — there is nothing to negotiate and no code to find.

Academic Partner rates are held by the institution, not the student, so they apply where your university or TVET college holds a current licence. Not every institution participates.

Three ways to earn a credential
A route is how you are assessed. A rate is what you pay. They are separate decisions.
Challenge route
Assessment and verification without the coursework.
Experienced practitioners who already hold the competency.
Priced the same as the verified-student rate at every level. Neither candidate is consuming the full learning programme, so neither pays for it.
Certification
The full learning programme and the assessment.
For candidates taking the full programme.
Four intakes a year.
Certification Plus
Everything in Certification, plus the preparation package.
Candidates who want a safety net, and employer-funded cohorts.
Priced on the service it adds, never as a percentage of the credential.
Cross-path progression
The paths are role-based, not silos. Technical professionals add commercial credentials as careers move into consulting, management or account leadership. Commercial professionals add technical credentials when the role needs greater solution depth.
Already certified on the other path? You never buy Professional twice, and the credential-holder rate applies at your equivalent level or above.
Auto DigitID Dual-Path Professional. Completing both paths earns the Dual-Path Professional designation. There is no additional examination.
Technical and commercial credentials are not interchangeable. A commercial credential does not confer a technical role title, and technical role titles remain gated behind technical competency.
How the credential is governed
What makes the credential mean the same thing whoever holds it.
- One standard There is one assessment per level. The learning route somebody took does not change it, and there is no lesser version of a credential for people who bought less support.
- Public verification Every certificate carries an ID and a QR code, and anyone can check it without an account. A credential nobody can verify is a claim.
- Framework-versioned An issued certificate stays tied to the framework release printed on it, so what it certified remains legible years later even as the curriculum moves.
- Three-year renewal Credentials are renewed on a three-year cycle, so what an employer checks is current practice rather than a historical fact.
- Prerequisite integrity Each level assumes the one below it. The ladder is a sequence, not a menu, which is what makes a level mean the same thing whoever holds it.
- No dilution through volume Buying seats changes the seat price and nothing else. Volume never changes the assessment, the standard or what the credential says.
- Both routes, one credential The Challenge route and the full learning route lead to the same assessment and the same award. Neither is marked on the certificate.
Questions
Do I have to buy the learning to sit the assessment?
No. If you already do this work, the Challenge route gives you the same materials on a 90-day window with one practice attempt, from $195 at Professional. The credential you earn is identical.
Is one option a better certification than another?
No. Challenge, Certification and Certification Plus are three ways to prepare for one credential. What changes is the preparation and support you buy, never what you end up holding.
Do I need Professional before Specialist?
Yes. Each certification assumes the one below it, which is what makes the credential mean the same thing whoever holds it. Professional is open entry.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes, and the total is always shown with it. Specialist is $895 in one payment or 3 of $315; Expert is $2,495 or 6 of $449; the Complete Pathway is $3,150 or 12 of $290.
How long do I have?
Twelve months of access on the Certification and Plus routes, 90 days on Challenge. Intakes open 1 January, 1 April, 1 July, 1 October, and booking in the 30 days before one lets you start immediately at the Early Access rate.
Does the credential expire?
It is renewed every three years, so what an employer checks is current rather than historical. Renewal is $99 at Professional, $295 at Specialist and $695 at Expert.
How does an employer check my certificate?
Every certificate carries a unique ID and a QR code that resolve on our verification page. No account, no login, and only the six fields a credential check should disclose.
I already hold one certification. What does the next one cost?
Add it within 90 days of certifying and you pay the balance of the pathway rather than the full standalone price.
Can my employer buy seats for a team?
Yes. Seats carry the identical credential at the same standard; volume changes the seat price, never the certification. Private cohorts and Corporate Academy delivery are priced separately, because what they add is delivery.
